Venice Backstage. How does Venice work?

I love the "behind the scenes" of life, the situations and people that enrich our lives with their invisible presence. The people responsible for the food we prepare and eat, the people that make our clothes and the mobile devices we use every day. The people that create and produce the culture we enjoy. Right now in a studio somewhere there is an artist rehearsing a performance for what feels like the hundredth time, just so that it can look absolutely effortless when you see it.

And yet, I have to admit I never considered the behind the scenes of a city. And certainly never thought of what happens with a city like Venice. How does the "Venice system" work? How do the tides in the lagoon behave? How are the canals formed?

We've seen the city in many movies, and in this short film we take a step backstage.

Breakfast Interrupted, A Perfect Breakfast Meets Slow Motion Mayhem

“Breakfast Interrupted” is a whimsical slow motion ode to breakfast. The video begins with luscious imagery of a lavish breakfast spread, before slow motion mayhem begins at the 25 second mark. “Breakfast, Interrupted” is the creation of Bruton Stroube Studios, a St. Louis production company with a focus on food and beverage commercials. They’ve also posted a making of video for the slow mo curious.

Breakfast is my favorite meal. Every Saturday morning I meet friends for breakfast to catch up, celebrate the good things that happened and let go of the challenging moments of the week. But we never had a breakfast like this.
